The Jade Emperor sent the tiger down to earth, and the tiger asked for a credit for each victory. The Jade Emperor only wanted peace on earth, so of course he agreed to the tiger's request.
After coming to the mortal world, the tiger learned that lions, bears and horses were the three most powerful animals at that time. He challenged these three animals. With the tiger's bravery and superior martial arts connection defeated the lion, bear and horse. The other evil animals fled and hid in the uninhabited forest wilderness. The tiger was thanked by the people for his success in the world.
Back in heaven, the Jade Emperor carved three horizontal lines on the tiger's forehead for its victory over the three beasts in a row. Later, the earth was harassed by the turtle monster in the East China Sea, and the earth was a sea of water. The tiger came to the mortal world and bit the turtle monster to death. After the lion's bad reputation to the Palace of Heaven, the Jade Emperor decided to remove the title of the lion's genus, to add the king of the beast tiger.
